Going into free agency the Los Angeles Rams and general manager Les Snead had a lot of areas to address after a poor 4-12 season in 2016.

A lot of those areas they need to address are on the offensive side of the ball, as the Rams ranked dead last in most offensive categories last season.

They addresses some of those needs Thursday morning, the first day of free agency, as it appears they have made a couple of signings.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Rams will be signing former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Roberts Woods, and former Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth:

The details of their contracts were also released:

Woods, who returns home after growing up in Los Angeles and playing his college ball at USC, played four seasons with the Bills after being drafted in the second round in 2013. In those four seasons he had 2,451 yards and 12 touchdowns. Last season he caught 51 passes for 613 yards and one touchdown.

The 24-year-old will likely replace Kenny Britt, who has opted to sign with the Cleveland Browns in free agency.

Whitworth has spent all 11 of his seasons with the Bengals, being named a Pro Bowler three teams, including the last two seasons. He was also named to the All-Pro team in 2015. He should bolster an offensive line group that struggled to protect quarterback Jared Goff last season.

Wide receiver and offensive line were the to two needs for Los Angeles, and it appears Snead has addressed both of them on the very first day of free agency.
